Memories by Melissas Dark Angel

Childhood memories,

Mother holds her tight from beings in the night

Father in disbelief, he scolds her

For her supposed lies

Oh the door she opened

To the other side

The monsters are always beside her.

She sulks and begs for mercy

But God leaves her to die

To rid the demons at hand

Is like pulling bloody teeth

While she lays awake

A million candles lit

Her wrists become her heartache

She let’s crimson and sadness flow

Oh heaven help me

Hell has other plans

To rip her to shreds and

Claim her once again.
